Duties & Responsibilities:
- Validate and update Hydro-meteorological data and evaluate the assessment of occurrence availability, dependability and quality of surface water resources;
- Review and reformulate if necessary studies to come up with hydrologic parameters used in the design project facilities such as dams, reservoirs, spillways, tunnels, power plants, diversion works, size of service area, canal, etc.;
- Review and conduct operation studies to determine the optimum utilization of surface water resources, allocation of available water to various functions and evaluation of benefits; and
- Supervise the collection and consolidation of hydrographic data, prepare the data in appropriate form for the use of various functions and evaluation of benefits;
- Perform other related functions.
