Duties & Responsibilities:
- Direct the development and implementation of information/application systems;
- Review and recommend policies on computer system design and specifications;
- Review and recommend systems procedures that can be streamlined thru the use of computer;
- Review and recommend improvements on computerized systems for effective and efficient computer utilization;
- Formulate and implement information systems and data files security measures to safeguard the integrity and reliability of operational information systems;
- Supervise the development of the agency’s information system applications;
- Coordinate with other departments/offices on information and communication technology related activities;
- Supervise training of users and operating personnel on database access and use of developed computerized systems/acquired application packages;
- Prepare and implement information system development project activities and schedules;
- Perform other related functions.
