Division Manager B

  1. Responsible for the preparation of overall work and financial programs for submission to concerned agencies as approved by authorities of NIA;
  2. Responsible for the review of feasibility study reports submitted by field offices and recommend scheme of development based on the reviewed FSR for funding under regular Agrarian Reform Fund (ARF) and other Foreign-Assisted Projects (FAPs);
  3. Responsible for the review of plans and programs of work submitted by field offices and in the monitoring and evaluation of the progress of all irrigation sub-projects implemented under the regular Agrarian Reform Fund (ARF) and other Foreign-Assisted Projects (FAPs);
  4. Conduct field inspections as maybe necessary to facilitate completion of design of proposed irrigation and drainage facilities and finalize scheme of development of proposed sub-project considering actual field conditions:
    1. Responsible in the conduct of pre-implementation meetings for approved projects of concerned Irrigation Management Office (IMO);
    2. Responsible for the release of Feasibility Study funds to projects identified by DAR and Detailed Engineering funds to feasible irrigation projects as recommended by DAR.
  1. Construction and Monitoring
    1. Responsible for the release of funds intended for the construction of all projects with complete detailed design and approved program of work for construction as recommended by DAR;
    2. Responsible for the overall monitoring of engineering related activities for all approved projects;
    3. Responsible for the overall assessment of project approved for construction;
    4. Responsible for the final preparation of all reports relative to Project Implementation of all ARF funded project and FAPs for submission to Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), Department of Budget and Management (DBM), Commission on Audit (COA), NIA Top Management and other concerned offices;
    5. Responsible for the overall preparation of Project Completion Reports (PCRs) of all completed sub-projects for submission to Department of Agrarian Reform and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

Division Manager B

  1. Oversees the overall planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and reporting of institutional development component of CARP-IC;
  2. Plan, direct and supervise the formulation of policies and operational guidelines on the formation, development and functionality sustenance of Irrigators Associations
  3. Review annual work and financial plans for Institutional Development in coordination with the CARP-IC Engineering and Finance Division
  4. Review/approve requests and approval of Sub-Allotment Advice and funding checks and funding check releases for Institutional Development funds for field offices
  5. Evaluates and submit for approval all submitted Memorandum of Agreements, Final Loan Agreements Project Completion Report for Institutional Development and O and M Manuals
  6. Validates the annual evaluation of regional nominees for CARP-IC Most Outstanding Irrigators Associations (IA)
  7. Responsible in the implementation of approved proposals trainings, workshop and CARP-IC spearheaded conferences
  8. Attends and coordinate consultations, conferences and meetings with other government functions in relation to project implementation and
  9. Perform other related activities.

Principal Architect A

  1. Plan, direct, supervise and coordinate the technical and administrative activities of the section necessitated in:
  • The review of architectural designs and models of buildings, project facilities and resettlement area
  • The review of plans and working drawings of electrical and sanitary facilities, including site planning and landscaping works, drawings of irrigation and drainage structures based on design notes and sketches
  • The review of topographic and geologic maps based on survey data and boring logs and the reproduction of same to desired scale
  • The review of technical specifications, bill of materials and cost estimates of architectural works
  • The updating of architectural design criteria and drafting standards
  1. Conduct field inspection of proposed sites and on-going constructions of project facilities and coordinate with Project Engineers to effect realistic planning and design
  2. Perform other related functions.

Electronics Communications Systems Operator B

  1. Answer and connect telephone calls to different local telephones
  2. Receive and report all complaints of direct and local telephones
  3. Announce thru paging system all required message and information
  4. Prepare letter request re: installation of new direct/local phones and all reports on communication services of the PABX unit
  5. Prepare and file PLDT monthly telephone bills of project, tenants and NIA-CO, and
  6. Perform other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.

Data Encoder

  1. Encode correspondence, reports and other documents pertinent to the functions of the Human Resources Division
  2. Receives, records and maintains an orderly file of all incoming and outgoing communications, reports and other important documents
  3. Check and follow up submission of regular reports, and
  4. Perform other related functions.

Computer Maintenance Technologist II

  1. Perform repair of computer/communication equipment and peripherals;
  2. Diagnose and identify information and communication equipment and peripheral problem and perform remedial measures;
  3. Assist in the installation of computer hardware and communication facilities and peripherals;
  4. Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of information and communication equipment and peripherals;
  5. Assist in day-to-day administration of LAN;
  6. Diagnose electrical problems external of computer/communication equipment and peripherals;
  7. Inform users on scheduled preventive maintenance and unscheduled computer shutdown;
  8. Troubleshoot hardware, equipment and peripherals;
  9. Perform other related functions.

Senior Transport Electrician

  1. Conduct/render major repairs and electrical components;
  2. Help and coordinate with mechanic in the repair of various automotive parts/systems having electrical control or indicators as projected in the panel board;
  3. Perform individualized detailed repair work of electrical accessories such as generators, alternators, charting meter, etc.;
  4. Install electrical wirings and conduct general checkup of electrical parts;
  5. Perform other related functions.

Data Encoder

  1. Encode reports needed by the Department of Budget and Management, Department of Agriculture, Department of Finance and other agencies;
  2. Perform other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.

Senior Data Encoder-Controller

  1. Screen data input to computer-based forms and review integrity of output;
  2. Convert raw data into computerized database files to ensure maximum accuracy;
  3. Compile hard copies of computer for ready references, furnish duplicate copies of important documents upon request
  4. Encode correspondence, reports and other official communications, assist in the presentation of reports during meetings/conferences and reproduce hard/soft copies of documents, and
  5. Perform other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.

Data Encoder

  1. Encode reports needed by the Department of Budget and Management, Department of Agriculture, Department of Finance and other agencies;
  2. Perform other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.
