Duties & Responsibilities: 
  1. Undertake technical review in coordination with systems offices and project plans and specifications for construction implementation;
  2. Disseminate to regions and projects the revised and newly adopted policies effecting the authority on lease;
  3. Analyze and evaluate request of transfer and withdrawal of equipment in regional field offices and projects and recommend the equipment needed;
  4. Assist in the preparation of annual budget regarding acquisition, replacement and repair and maintenance of all NIA equipment;
  5. Render technical assistance in the evaluation of bids;
  6. Compile and maintain list of all existing NIA equipment from all regions and projects for database, equipment management information system;
  7. Consolidate and maintain technical references, brochures, catalogues;
  8. Evaluate and compile Monthly Equipment Utilization Report (MEUR) for equipment distribution of NIA as to equipment needs;
  9. Assist in the conduct of actual inventory of all equipment in regional field offices and projects;
  10. Assist in the evaluation of quarterly reports (EM-4Q) on utilization, cost of operation, maintenance and repair of all equipment and vehicles as well as other pertinent reports for management operation information;
  11. Assist in the evaluation of quarterly reports (EM-12B) on operation, maintenance and repair cost of selected equipment;
  12. Assist in the evaluation of monthly reports (EM-12CI) on selected equipment utilization and rental generation;
  13. Participate in the conduct of inventory of equipment for completed projects;
  14. Perform other related functions.
