Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supervise the preparation of reconnaissance level design and estimates of Irrigation Canals and farm facilities;
- Supervise the preparation of Feasibility level design and estimates of irrigation canals and farm facilities;
- Derives unit costs and operation and maintenance costs for irrigation facilities;
- Undertake field investigation of proposed irrigation projects;
- Monitors and review Irrigation Projects;
- Review of outsource Feasibility Studies;
- Provide technical assistance to Field Offices on matters of Irrigation and Drainage;
- Gathers and collate pertinent data required for the planning, design and estimates of proposed irrigation projects;
- Conduct other matters relevant to Irrigation and Drainage Development.
