Duties & Responsibilities:
- Organize in-house review and planning workshops on the research program of the Center to identify mature technologies for packaging and dissemination and validate research priorities for inclusion in subsequent programs;
- Conduct survey- and investigatory-type studies on irrigation and drainage commodity focusing on enabling interventions for enhancing the beneficial impacts, operational functionality and service delivery of the said systems;
- Prepare data- and findings-loaded abstracts with attribution to concerned researchers maintained of in-house and foreign completed research, studies and surveys on irrigation and drainage commodity, for compilation into quick-reference booklets;
- Process secondary and primary data generated by domestic research, studies and surveys by applying appropriate statistical methods to determine data means, ranges and trends useful in characterizing situations in irrigated areas;
- Update the research and training masterplans of the Center by taking into account necessity of supporting with methodologies and databases the planning, execution and assessment of priority thrusts in the irrigation sector;
- Perform other related functions.
