Duties & Responsibilities:
- Review agro-economic land use appraisal of irrigation projects;
- Review results of investigation of the present land use and recommends the best economical use and cropping patterns of project conditions;
- Review studies on various aspects of crop production and recommends appropriate and improved irrigated agricultural production practices;
- Review assessment of existing agricultural supporting services and recommends future requirements necessary to support successful implementation of irrigated agricultural development plans and programs;
- Review feasibility reports particularly on the agricultural aspect and participates in the appraisal of project for loan-assistance;
- Perform other related functions.
