Duties & Responsibilities:
- Review and evaluate plans and programs, schedules and financial requirements submitted by Regional Managers for the repair and improvement of irrigation systems and recommend approval of same;
- Review and check the consolidated progress report of all irrigation systems with on-going repair and improvement works;
- Review, check and evaluate monthly accomplishment report on repair and improvement works of national irrigation systems and recommend measures for systems improvement;
- Arrange for and recommend releases of funds for the repair and improvement of national irrigation systems;
- Conduct ocular inspection as directed to irrigation systems to appraise actual accomplishment against approved program of work and verify veracity of complaint of farmer clientele and recommend measures or actions to be taken thereon;
- Review, check and maintain statistics on repair and improvement works;
- Devise work methods for an effective evaluation procedure;
- Perform other related functions
