Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assists the Engineering Division Manager with the overall engineering administration, control and coordination of all activities in the implementation of irrigation sub-projects;
- Prepare and coordinate with the DAR and PARC the list of identified, validated, proposed or priority lists of irrigation sub-projects and funding proposal for succeeding years;
- Prepare a program for the proposed project implementation schedule and consolidate the physical status of the proposed projects;
- Supervise the evaluation of the Feasibility Study Report, detailed design and POW submitted by field offices and release budgetary requirements and ASA request after the review and approval of the Program of Work (POW);
- Supervise, monitor, and evaluate the progress report of project implementation of all ongoing irrigation subprojects;
- Undertake or conduct field inspection, validation, and evaluation of all work accomplished on all completed or ongoing irrigation projects nationwide;
- Prepare communications to DAR/PARC and PMS or to the Regional/Irrigation Management Offices; and
- Perform other related duties from time to time as assigned by the Engineering Division Manager.
