Duties & Responsibilities: 
  1. Plan and direct activities involving training and career development of personnel;
  2. Participate in the administration of revised policies in personnel mechanisms relative to the functions of the section;
  3. Conduct research, special study or survey designed to improve existing employee training and career development;
  4. Supervise/review/check the preparation of communications/memoranda/office circulars/ replies to various queries which involve interpretation of laws, rules and regulations on employee training and career development;
  5. Direct the processing of both local and foreign trainings of employees;
  6. Coordinate with TESDA, JICA, KOICA for foreign trainings and CSC/CSI and DAP, etc. for sponsorship or for a training fee depending on the needs of the Agency;
  7. Review personnel policies and programs, flow charts, standard operating procedures and direct preparations of handouts/lecture materials/manuals on training and career development;
  8. Perform other related functions.
