Duties & Responsibilities:
- Plans and directs the formulation and implementation of the agency’s information System Strategic Plan (ISSP) nationwide;
- Supervises and monitors the updates on the status of the ISSP implementation;
- Organizes and controls resources to provide efficient and effective information and communication technology services;
- Manage databases for data/information requirements for management decision-making, research and other purposes;
- Plans and directs the development and implementation of the agency’s databases, website and information/application systems;
- Formulates policies on information and communication technology resources acquisition, management and operation, maintenance of operational computerized systems and users training;
- Coordinates with users of information and communication technology in order to provide support for the improvement of organizational activities and better utilization of information and communication technology resources and recommend training programs for users and operating personnel on network use, database access, intranet and use of developed computerized systems/acquired application packages;
- Supervises and monitors the implementation of Constructor’s Performance Evaluation System (CPES);
- Supervises and monitors the processing of geodata sets for the establishment of Geodatabase;
- Reviews the policies/guidelines on the implementation of Geodatabase establishment and continuing updates for nationwide reference of all NIA Regions and IMOs, reference in planning and monitoring of irrigation systems needs and performance.
