Recommend revision of policy guidelines and operating procedures for an improved Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of national irrigation systems;
Review and evaluate monthly/quarterly O&M reports and review/check quarterly reports on O&M of national irrigation systems for database management information system;
Review and check consolidated annual plans, programs, and budgetary requirement of national irrigation systems;
Review and check the progress of O&M activities in national irrigation systems and recommend solutions to problems encountered;
Verify veracity of complaints of farmer clientele and recommend action to be taken there from;
Represent the Division in the conduct of physical inventory of newly constructed/upgraded national irrigation projects preparatory to turnover of said projects to the Regional Office;
Review and validate the consolidated report on O&M portion of the Annual Report;
Supervise the conduct field inspections to verify and evaluate the progress of O&M activities and recommend improvements and solutions to problems encountered;
Review and check the evaluation on irrigated and benefited areas and record inconsistencies in reporting area developed or improved;
Recommend proper implementation of water management in the National Irrigation Systems (NIS) in the regional offices;
