Plans and directs the management, operation, and maintenance of the agency’s network information and communication technology facilities to its utmost efficiency in a cost-effective manner;
Formulates, prepares, and implements the Information Systems Strategic Plan (ISSP) of the Agency;
Reviews and recommends all hardware, software, communication, and other network facilities upgrade and acquisition that will be beneficial to the agency;
Formulates standards and timetables for update of intranet use of multi-users/shared facilities and equipment to meet users’ requirements on-time;
Establishes policies and schedules for regular backing up of files on public volumes;
Recommends standards, procedures, and schedules for equipment preventive maintenance;
Conducts risk analysis and establishes physical security measures and controls to safeguard the computer facilities premises and ICT infrastructure and resources;
Supervises/undertakes the operation and management of the ICT infrastructure of the Agency;
Supervises the operations and maintenance of internet and intranet applications;
