INFORMATION SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT CHIEF A

  1. Direct the development and implementation of information/application systems;
  2. Review and recommend policies on computer system design and specifications;
  3. Review and recommend systems procedures that can be streamlined thru the use of computer;
  4. Review and recommend improvements on computerized systems for effective and efficient computer utilization;
  5. Formulate and implement information systems and data files security measures to safeguard the integrity and reliability of operational information systems;
  6. Supervise the development of the agency’s information system applications;
  7. Coordinate with other departments/offices on information and communication technology related activities;
  8. Supervise training of users and operating personnel on database access and use of developed computerized systems/acquired application packages;
  9. Prepare and implement information system development project activities and schedules;
  10. Perform other related functions.
