Conduct fact-finding investigations and formal investigations of administrative cases; and coordinate with appropriate agencies in the prosecution of criminal, civil and administrative cases involving the central, regional and field offices;
Review and recommend contracts and instruments beyond the authority of the field offices; interpret provisions of contracts covering works performed for the NIA by private entities;
Review drafts of communication; answer to queries, opinions, memoranda and/or recommendation s prepared by subordinate;
Review and evaluate research materials relating to legislative proposals, proposed executive orders, queries, position papers on complicated matters and prepare drafts of results of researches relating thereto;
Coordinate and confer within the department in the review of research works concerning administrative and/or court cases;
