NIA issues news releases uploaded in the Agency’s Official Facebook Page regarding corporate social responsibility activities of the Agency towards its stakeholders. In year 2021, the Agency has asked for donations from its officials and employees nationwide to help victims of Typhoon Odette that hit Visayas and Mindanao. Also, community pantries have been conducted by different NIA offices nationwide to help the nearby communities in surviving the difficulty brought about by the global pandemic.

Yearly, the Agency conducts National Greening Program – Tree Planting Activity in line with its Anniversary Celebration. Also, in line with the birthday celebration of the Administrator, a yearly simultaneous bloodletting activity is being conducted by the Agency nationwide.

NIA’s Hotline 8888 Complaints Channel is being undertaken by the Office of the Public Affairs and Information Staff. The Operations Manual of such office includes Figure 1-7.a: Strengthen Public Relations through Customer/Client Feedback and Complaints Management – Office of the President’s 888 Citizen’s Complaint Hotline.

The relevant interested party may lodge request to Hotline 8888. The Hotline 8888 Office will then forward the complaint to NIA via 888 portal. NIA Public Affairs and Information Office will then receive the complaint ticket and will forward it to the concerned office to act on the issue within 72 hours.

The concerned office taking action to the complaint will forward the undertaken action to PAIS for closure of the ticket.
